COACH PROFILES
Our experienced football coaches are dedicated to helping young players build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the game in a positive, structured environment. Working across different age groups and ability levels, our coaches based in Peterborough deliver sessions that are engaging, supportive, and focused on long-term development. This page introduces the qualified football coaches behind F.O.X, giving parents a closer look at the team guiding players throughout their journey.
With 14 years at Peterborough United’s Academy, I specialised in the foundation phase, particularly the pre-academy, and was later appointed Pre-Academy Lead. In the role over a decade I designed and implemented a tailored curriculum and games program to support young players’ development and led various age groups from 7-12s.
Outside of football I teach PE at an Ofsted Outstanding rated Primary School, where I encourage a love for sport in young learners. Now, I’m focussed on helping local players reach their potential and progress in their footballing journeys.
Tom has been with us from the very beginning and brings outstanding versatility to our coaching team. His experience at Peterborough United working with players from the U7s through to the first team allows him to support every age and ability. He leads our private coaching sessions throughout the week and is also our U7 Lead Coach.
Alongside his work with us, Tom leads the PE team at an Ofsted Outstanding rated primary school, where he has taught for over 20 years. He has also recently launched an online coaching platform designed to support and inspire coaches around the world.
Olly has spent his career working across the full spectrum of youth football, from developing elite academy players to designing coaching programme used by over 100,000 children globally.
Right now, he works as both an academy coach at a Premier League club and a curriculum and training specialist supporting a global coaching network. These roles give a unique view of what makes great coaching.
Chris has a real passion for working with our youngest players and those who are new to football. His patience, enthusiasm and ability to break things down make him an excellent coach for helping players take their first steps in the game. Always eager to learn and develop Chris continually looks for ways to improve his coaching and bring the best out of every player he works with.
He is our U5-6 Lead Coach and has helped build a great programme for our youngest players. Giving them an extra training session every week and multiple events in our inflatable pitches.
Chris also supports our U10 squad every week at training and matches.
With a decade of experience in youth football, James has worked with Leicester City as Head of Local Recruitment and led the Peterborough Development Centre, helping identify players ready to progress from grassroots to academy football.
Alongside coaching, he’s an Assistant Head Teacher at a local primary school, combining his passion for education and youth development to inspire the next generation on and off the pitch.
James has played a key role in growing our Futures sessions on a Saturday and has been pivotal in developing our U5-6 programme.
He’s a fantastic member of the team and we’re lucky to have him.
Elio worked for over a decade at Peterborough United specialising in the U12-U16 groups, focussing on helping them transition into the professional game.
“My experience has allowed me to identify talent, develop technical skills and future the mental and tactical aspects needed for success at high levels.”
Having seen many players make the leap to professional football Elio is passionate about providing the guidance and support needed to help them succeed.
Having played since the age of 3, from grassroots, futsal and JPL up to U16 level, Andrew has experienced the journey and now passes his enthusiasm, skills and love for the game to our younger players. Having a natural coaching ability he helps in many sessions from our Futures to U9 groups maintain focus and grow their skills.
