We believe that it is vital to create the perfect learning environment for our players – positive but challenging. It is so important to us that players are creative, confident and have freedom to express themselves.
All our young players will practice and learn the basic skills of dribbling, running with the ball, passing, receiving, 1v1 moves and turns. We have a huge focus on ball mastery as well as technical aspects of the game, as we believe this is vital to their development at a young age.
We hope to create a pressure free environment where all our players develop, learn and most importantly fall in love with the game.
We started with just eight players, and by the end of our first year that number had grown to 50, reflecting the strong response from local families and the positive impact of our coaching approach. Since then, F.O.X has continued to grow significantly, and we now work with more than 150 children each week across our sessions. As the academy has developed, we have also expanded into competitive grassroots football, with two teams now representing us in the local Junior Alliance League.
This growth highlights not only the increasing demand for our coaching in Peterborough, but also the trust parents place in us to provide a positive, structured environment where young players can develop, compete, and enjoy their football.
